About Us

Founded in 2023 by Weldon Johnson of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Jet Express Transit was born out of a deep commitment to community care. As a bi-vocational minister and a professional Class A CDL carrier with over 11 years of experience, Weldon recognized a growing need for dependable transportation services particularly among individuals facing mental health challenges, substance abuse recovery, or physical disabilities.
Many in our community struggle to maintain a vehicle or afford insurance, leaving them isolated from essential services like medical appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies. That’s where Jet Express Transit steps in.
We don’t just transport people we care for them. Every passenger is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion because we believe everyone deserves access to safe and reliable transportation.
